Observed Changes in the Climate
As we learn about the climate, we look at the trends
that emerge from the past and also the things that
are happening around us.
In the last 150 years, changes in climate have been
witnessed, and though these have been very gradual,
there is a trend towards global warming, leading to
other related impacts.
The increase in temperature brings about changes
in aspects of weather such as wind and precipitation
patterns, amounts, distribution, and so on. All these
changing trends could have far-reaching and unpredictable
consequences for the environment.
