Climate Variation
Let us take the example of the shoreline of a sea.
The shoreline is highly susceptible to change, and
therefore, has no definite shape. With every incoming
wave, some sediments get deposited on the shore, and
with every receding wave, certain amount of sand gets
removed from the shore. Accordingly, the shoreline
gets redrawn a bit with such frequent wave movements.
This is akin to our climate - a dynamic system that
keeps evolving. Every moment as substances get added
or get used up in this system, the basic nature of
climate also changes.
In this section, we will learn about the variation
in climate.
The following concepts will be covered.
Let us proceed to understand the first concept.
